The Strategic Plan was prepared as a means of coordinating JADA's mission with surrounding communities and stakeholders.  This plan presents the long-term direction of the organization in the context of JADA's vision of the future.  This report establishes the benchmark by which JADA's progress will be measured and how goals and policies may need to be refined in the future.

The Joliet Arsenal Area Long Range Transportation Plan's purpose is to identify, evaluate and recommend the transportation strategies required to serve the existing and planned development in this area; and to recommend an implementation plan for these strategies.

The Joliet Arsenal Development Authority (JADA) is a quasi-public organization. Pursuant to the Illinois Land Conservation Act of 1995, 16 USCAs 1609 (PL104-106, 1996 S 1124 Sec. 2897 (c)), the Illinois General Assembly authorized the creation of JADA which is governed by P.A. 89-333.
