SOUTHWEST WILL TMA STUDY​
The purpose of the study is to update the 2004 Transportation Plan with respect to the transportation infrastructure and transit services required for the area in and around the former Joliet Arsenal; and to evaluate the creation of a Transportation Management Association (TMA).
The study will also identify current and planned land uses in the study area. The study will provide stakeholders with an opportunity to provide information that will be incorporated into the study that will impact the area.
The study area is bounded by I-80 on the North, Rt. 53 on the East, South to N. River Road, I-55 on the West and a second adjacent area bounded by N. River Road to the North, the BNSF rail line to the northwest, Will County boundary to the West, Route 113/E. Division Street to the south, and I-55 to the east.
STRATEGIC PLAN SUMMARY
The Strategic Plan was prepared as a means of coordinating JADA's mission with surrounding communities and stakeholders.
This plan presents the long-term direction of the organization in the context of JADA's vision of the future.
This report establishes the benchmark by which JADA's progress will be measured and how goals and policies may need to be refined in the future.
TMA FEASIBILITY STUDY
The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of establishing a transportation management association (TMA) in southwest Will County, Illinois.

This study was designed to examine the transportation conditions, the business environment and the viability of forming and sustaining a TMA in southwest Will County that would serve employees, municipalities and businesses.

TRANSPORTATION PLAN UPDATE
The 2004 Plan addressed transportation infrastructure and transit services required to accommodate the existing and planned development in southwest Will County.
The Plan Update documents changes in area development and transportation plans and programs of the various state, regional, and local entities. These plans were assimilated to best address area needs that are important today and to the future of southwest Will County.

TRANSPORTATION PLAN SUMMARY
The Joliet Arsenal Area Long Range Transportation Plan's purpose is to identify, evaluate and recommend the transportation strategies required to serve the existing and planned development in this area; and to recommend an implementation plan for these strategies.
